One of the most exciting moments of our journey to date is our participation in SLINGSHOT 2024, Asia’s leading deep-tech startup competition in Singapore. Competing alongside groundbreaking innovations and visionary entrepreneurs, this experience was a game-changer for SpectraCann.
SpectraCann was honored to be among the top 50 finalists at SLINGSHOT 2024, Asia’s leading deep-tech startup competition, held as part of the Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH). With 5,555 applicants competing for just 50 spots, SpectraCann stood out as one of only two Canadian companies selected—and the only one from our Hatch Dimension X cohort to reach the finals.
SLINGSHOT brought together 20,000 participants and 200+ investors, creating an unparalleled opportunity to showcase our novel breath-analyzing technology (rtCRDS.) Presenting our rapid THC detection solution to a global audience reinforced the increasing recognition of our work in VOC detection in breath.
We’re also proud to share that SpectraCann won the “Best Pitch for Partner Organizations Startups” award, securing $20,000 SGD in non-dilutive funding. This recognition highlights the impact and potential of our technology in advancing public safety, health, and regulatory compliance.
